Scared with beauty
Constructed using charcoal, this piece depicts a woman leaping forward reaching for something that is not there, with the unsettled sea behind her following her hand. As this piece ages it tells new stories, as the wear on the corners the scars on her face and the finger print marks makes the piece feel more real as if it can feel what has been done to it.
